New Orbit 2.0 — decisions, not transcripts →

Be in the meeting, not in your notes.

Orbit listens to every call your remote team has, then hands back what matters: a two‑line summary, the decisions, and action items with an owner and a date.

06 — FAQ

Good questions.

Anything else? Our team replies within a working day in your timezone — hello@orbit.so.

Only if you want one. By default Orbit captures audio from the desktop app on your own machine, so nobody sees an extra participant. For calls you can’t attend, you can send Orbit via a calendar link instead.

Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams, plus in‑person meetings recorded from your laptop or phone. Summaries can be sent to Slack, Notion, Linear, Jira, HubSpot and email.

Orbit only creates an action item when it hears a clear owner and task, and it shows the exact quote it came from. Anything ambiguous is marked “needs owner” so a person decides — nothing is assigned silently.

No. Your recordings and transcripts are never used for training, by us or by our model providers. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit, and you choose how long it’s kept.

Orbit transcribes 42 languages — including mixed‑language calls — and each person can read the summary in their own language.

Yes. Monthly plans stop at the end of the billing period, and you can export every summary and transcript as Markdown or PDF before you go.
